Calligraphy 2- Writing the name in Japanese

Japan Culture Sessions(list)

This session should follow Calligraphy 1

1 hour session from 9 years old (From Year 4)

Steps:
(1) Practicing, Writing the Chinese Character, "celebration" in calligraphy brush on the half size of A4 white paper

(2) Practicing the pupil's first name in Katakata (a Japanese script) on a worksheet

(3) Writing Katakana name on the bottom of another half size of A4 white paper

(4) Sticking (1) paper on the left side of A4 thick colour paper and (3) paper on on the right side of A4 thick colour paper

(5) Finally putting down Dear,,, and their thanks message.

Necessary items
- Painting shirts,
- Palette for black ink per table,
- Newspapers to cover the desks
- A4 size white paper - 2 per pupil
- Water, washing towel, washing place
- Thick A 4 size colour paper (lighter colour is better)

Note:
Please help us wash the used items out.
